- Actively contribute to and make strategic decisions in design sessions.
- Mentor junior engineers in design principles and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate user requirements into clear, actionable software specifications.
- Ensure software quality through comprehensive documentation, rigorous risk analysis, and robust testing methodologies.
- Work closely with the Product Owner, Architect, and Shared Services teams to efficiently manage dependencies and deliver integrated solutions.
To succeed in the role, we believe you should have:
- A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to stakeholders.
- Proven experience in healthcare, medical technology, or another regulated industry is beneficial, allowing you to demonstrate a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in a modern programming language (we use C# for backend and Angular for frontend), with a track record of developing high-quality software solutions.
- Experience in designing and implementing RESTful services, event-driven architectures and front-end development.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure services and tools, with a strong understanding of their deployment and operational aspects.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and other cloud technologies is highly beneficial.
In this role, you will work for a higher purpose: hope for everyone dealing with cancer and for everyone, regardless of where they are in the world, to have access to the best cancer care. Additionally, our benefit package includes:
- Flexible work @ Elekta (this is a hybrid role – you will need to be in our Helsinki office 3 days a week)
- Lunch Benefit
- Sport and culture Benefit
- Occupational Healthcare
- OP Extra Health Insurance
- Mobile Phone Benefit
