Job Overview:
As the Product Manager for APIs and Integrations, you will own and develop Smartvatten’s integration offerings, ensuring seamless, efficient API solutions for our customers and partners. This role is both hands-on and strategic and involves managing the product roadmap, onboarding new partners, maintaining documentation, and overseeing API performance to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will work closely with our development teams to drive improvements in our API offerings and lead implementation projects together with our partners and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the development and roadmap of Smartvatten’s API and integration services, including standard and custom integrations.
- Ensure the satisfaction of customers and partners using the APIs, responding to their needs and feedback.
- Create and maintain up-to-date API documentation and guidance
- Monitor and analyze the performance of APIs and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the processes for onboarding, supporting, and following up on integrations, ensuring smooth collaboration with partners.
- Work with the Director of Commercial Partnerships to onboard new partners.
- Act as support for technical issues related to APIs, collaborating with the development team to resolve complex problems.
- Lead implementation and development projects for Custom APIs in collaboration with clients.
Who We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of technical expertise, product management experience, and a passion for sustainability, particularly in the context of water efficiency and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience managing APIs and integrations, including RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and common integration technologies.
- Hands-on experience with API monitoring tools and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Strong project management skills and proven success in building and maintaining relationships with partners and clients.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- A genuine passion for ESG topics and water efficiency—motivated by contributing to sustainability through technology.
