The Nokia Engineering and Services Cloud (NESC) is a private cloud solution developed by Nokia. It has been in use internally since 2010 and is designed to provide reliable and scalable infrastructure as a service (IaaS) to Nokia's business units. NESC is built on Kubernetes, OpenStack and CEPH storage platforms, with over 10k physical servers and close to 1M virtual compute cores. It operates in four global regions-Finland, India, the US, and China. NESC is one of the largest corporate private clouds in the world and continues to evolve as Nokia breaks new boundaries in cloud technology.
