What Will You Do
As a Data Steward at Mirka, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and usability of our data assets. You will collaborate with stakeholders across IT, analytics, and business units to understand their data needs and promote best practices. Your responsibilities will include developing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures, as well as monitoring and improving data quality metrics to maintain accuracy and consistency. You will also oversee the maintenance of metadata, including data catalogs and dictionaries, to ensure our data assets are accessible and well-documented. Additionally, you will identify, document, and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner while ensuring that all data practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.

What We're Looking For
Proven experience in leading change management initiatives, with strong skills in coordination and effective communication.
Genuine interest in data management
Ability to analyse data processes, identifying patterns or issues.
Skills around process management is a plus
Skilled in data management tools; knowledge of SQL and database systems is seen as a plus.
