Glaston Finland Oy in Tampere offers summer jobs for students interested in learning more about glass processing technology and machine manufacturing.
We're looking for students with technical background to join our Engineering teams including future Software Developers, Electrical and Mechanical designers or Testing and Process Engineers. If you are studying automation technology, software engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering etc. technical field, our summer positions could be a perfect fit for you.
About the summer job:
The nature of your work will depend on the team you choose to join, but it will definitely involve working with machines. Your tasks may include some of the following:
- Producing electrical drawings for Glaston machines.
- Machine designing with SolidWorks and updating product structures with ATON.
- Design and testing our PLC software.
- Handling troubleshooting issues and analyzing software performance.
What we expect from you
It’s great if you already have some work experience and/or your studies have provided a solid foundation for building your knowledge. However, for us, the most important thing is the right attitude and a motivated approach to work.
If you're happy to take responsibility for your tasks, ask questions when you're unsure, and are eager to learn and grow, and above all, you bring a good sense of humour to your work, then a summer job at Glaston could be just the right opportunity for you.
