OUR ROLE
Join Fiskars Group and be part of a team that transforms the everyday into the extraordinary! We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee in Group Finance & Tax. In this position you will support our Group Tax & Customs Team and Group Financial Controlling team in a wide range of different tax, financial and administrative tasks.
This position is based at Fiskars headquarters in Keilaniemi, Espoo, Finland. This position is fixed-term starting part-time (2-5 days per week as agreed with the candidate) in April 2025 and will continue full-time from June 2025 to August 2025.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS GROUP
In this role, you will work on a variety of tax, financial, and administrative tasks, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and grow professionally. You will assist with month-end and quarterly reporting, participate in tax and customs related analysis and projects, and handle transfer pricing tasks. Your tasks will vary throughout the month, and you will work in a dynamic environment with tight schedules and reporting deadlines. Specifically, you will:

Help with monthly and interim closing, controlling, and reporting tasks.

Ensure accuracy in externally published financial materials.

Manage group adjustments and eliminations, including inter-company reconciliation.

Assist in preparing transfer pricing documentation for various Fiskars entities.

Review tax returns and transfer pricing forms for Fiskars' foreign subsidiaries.

Prepare data for compliance reports, such as the country-by-country report.
You will use MS Office and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) daily. While previous experience with HFM is not required, a willingness to learn is valued. Your colleagues will provide hands-on training for the tasks and tools.

You have a bachelor level or equivalent studies, preferably master’s studies in tax, accounting or finance

Studies and interest in taxation and financial accounting will benefit you in this role.

You should have a passion to work with numbers with an analytical mindset.

English is your daily working language.

Previous work experience within accounting, finance, or taxation is seen as an asset but not required.
