We are now looking for an Assistant Controller based in Helsinki to join our Nordic Finance team on a part-time, fixed-term basis, supporting functional unit’s reporting.
What will you do?
You will join a publicly listed company, gaining experience in financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accurate and insightful financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your financial analysis skills in a collaborative and Nordic environment. You will be an integral part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, based both in Helsinki and in Stockholm.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the preparation of Group monthly financial reports
- Assisting business partnering and controller tasks for assigned functional units, including HR, Marketing and Sales
- Conducting ad hoc analyses to provide actionable insights for business leaders
- Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial data across reporting systems
- Collaborating with team members to improve and streamline reporting processes
- This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in financial reporting and analysis while supporting core business operations within a Nordic team.
Who are you?
We are looking for an analytical team player with a can-do attitude and a strong desire to develop your skills. You are proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in an organized manner. While you thrive in a collaborative environment, you are also capable of working independently when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A few years of relevant studies or a recent graduate, majoring in management accounting, finance or other relevant studies
- Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Has an analytical mindset and the ability to deliver accurate results in a timely manner
- Our business language is English and full professional proficiency in English is required, proficiency in a Nordic language is a bonus
