About the role
We are looking for a Summer Trainee to join our CloudOps & Platform Engineering team with a focus on FinOps tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in cloud cost management and optimization. As a Summer Trainee, you will work closely with our team and be supported by our FinOps Lead to contribute to the efficiency of our cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help set up self-service cloud cost budget alerts for application owners in AWS and/or Azure.
- Assist in analyzing AWS environment for usage efficiency and cost savings opportunities.
- Support the cloud waste removal automation initiative.
- Enhance CUDOS dashboards and Azure Cost Explorer PowerBI reports.
About you

- Are currently pursuing a degree in a relevant study field.
- Have basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Have interest in cloud cost management and FinOps.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Have good communication skills.
We consider it as beneficial if you have:
- Familiarity with AWS native tooling and CUDOS dashboards.
- Basic knowledge of PowerBI and Azure Cost Explorer.
