We are looking for a proactive, curious, collaborative and communications-savvy change maker to join our international communications and sustainability team for a summer internship.
This position is a temporary role and located in Finland at Paulig Group’s headquarters office in Vuosaari. Paulig hybrid work policy combines working both remotely and in the office.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of building a sustainable future of food in an international company. You will get to collaborate with several teams by driving strong execution of our 2030 sustainability approach and supporting us in future proofing for future by working with our new Nature program. Part of the role entails also supporting in Paulig’s communications and external reporting activities. Specific tasks will be tailored based on the candidate profile, but we especially appreciate experience and interest in environmental sciences and assessing nature's impacts, dependencies and actions in a corporate setting. Furthermore, experience with social and digital media and corporate sustainability reporting (including frameworks such as CDP and European Sustainability Reporting Standards ESRS) are an asset.
You will be working with different tasks such as:

Support the in expanding the scope of Nature, especially biodiversity, impacts and dependencies assessment and target setting, and in disseminating the results

Support in developing and completing external environmental reporting, such as CDP climate change and water security and around CSRD (EU The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive)

Other tasks include supporting the sustainability team in ongoing general tasks, such as peer benchmarking, data analysis and in-depth sustainability risk assessments

Creating and publishing content for our corporate channels: intranet news, press releases, articles, social media posts, presentations and videos.

Develop innovative and engaging content marketing together with our digital communication professionals.

Monitoring and managing media and digital platforms: Keep track of media coverage and social media activity, and collaborate with the communications team as needed.
What we appreciate:

At minimum Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology Environmental Management, Corporate Sustainability or other social sciences

Interest in Communications and/or Marketing

Ideally, some previous experience within corporate nature programs and frameworks such as SBTN or TNFD
-
Experience within international business environment is considered a plus

Ability to create clear processes, documentation and support execution

Good communication and influencing skills

Systematic way of working, having business acumen, result orientated, international mindset and ability to work effectively and inclusively across teams.
