The Patent Portfolio Transformation Office is responsible for driving and coordinating our transformation efforts, covering all aspects of our operations from the operating model, governance, processes, and ways of working to IT systems, tooling, data, analytics, automation, and AI.
The Patent Portfolio organization itself manages Nokia's industry-leading patent portfolio and is dedicated to enhancing the value derived from Nokia's patents and R&D efforts.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic strategy and project management professional to lead strategic projects and drive the transformation agenda in the Patent Portfolio organization of Nokia Technologies. In this role, you will coordinate the Transformation Office's development initiatives, contribute hands-on to high-impact project streams as well as help drive analytical problem solving and program communications. This is a unique opportunity to join the transformation journey of the Patent Portfolio organization at an early stage in a high impact role.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Facilitate and manage cross-functional projects and drive collaborative problem solving
- Drive rigorous data analysis and analytical problem solving to support decision making
- Drive improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations
- Deliver analytical and operational insights and identifies change and improvement opportunities
- Identify and leverage relevant internal and external data to deliver fit-for-purpose analyses
- Support strategic decision making with structured problem solving and rigorous data analysis
- Drive data analysis, problem solving, and content development in strategic projects
- Create high-quality materials to facilitate structured collaborative problem solving
- Develop top-drawer project documentation and executive level presentations
- Engage key stakeholders and collaborates closely across the organization to secure buy-in
- Ensure successful implementation through active change management
- Ensure that projects are aligned to operational and strategic objectives and track inter-dependencies of projects within and outside the transformation program
- Coordinate reporting for the program of the overall progress and outlook of projects
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- 4+ years of proven experience on strategy, market analysis, and analytical problem solving from top-tier strategy / management consulting, investment banking, or private equity
- Strong academic record with a master's degree in a relevant field
- Proven track-record of delivering excellent results in demanding fast-paced project environments
- Strategic thinker with a strong command of analytical problem solving and data analyses
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate effectively at different levels of abstraction
- Able to handle complex concepts and translate complex analyses into clear recommendations
- Team player with ability and drive to independently produce quality deliverables on tight deadlines
- Highly proficient in producing high-quality materials and sharp executive level presentations
- Self-starter and completer-finisher with project management experience
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- Strong project management skills and a proven track-record of delivering diverse engagements
- Highly proficient in market analysis, financial modeling, and business case development
- Hands-on experience from operating model development and organizational transformation
- Exceptional influencing and change management capabilities
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience leading implementation projects related to IT systems, tooling, and data analytics
- Experience on data governance development and implementation
- Familiarity with cloud computing technologies
