As a Senior SoC Validation Engineer at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our next-generation System-on-Chips for LTE, 5G, and 6G technology. You will be part of an enthusiastic team that is responsible for validating SoC hardware and software in both pre-silicon and post-silicon environments. Your work will involve analyzing and testing complex SoC designs, both hardware and software, creating automated tests and testing environments, and contributing to seamless integration and robust testing frameworks' development.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
As part of our team, you will:
- Proactively integrate and test our System-on-Chip (SoC) hardware and software designs in pre-silicon (simulators, emulators) and post-silicon (lab) environments
- Analyze and debug complex SoC designs, with deep insight into hardware/software interaction
- Develop and maintain automated tests, test environments and continuous integration (CI) pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in test strategy, quality assurance, and continuous integration practices
- Report validation progress and results to stakeholders, influencing design decisions and project direction
- Mentor junior engineers by sharing expertise in embedded systems and validation techniques
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- Proficient C/C++ engineering skills in low-level embedded environment & deep understanding of HW/SW integration, and hardware/software debugging
- Experience with pre-silicon simulators/emulators, post-silicon lab environments and a solid grasp of SoC architecture
- Proficiency in CI pipeline development, Python development and test automation
- Understanding of RF measurement tools and experience with the interoperability testers in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments
- Wide experience in SoC and embedded systems development, Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in English with effective communication and collaboration skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- Familiarity with industry standards and specifications, including O-RAN, eCPRI, and 3GPP
