As a Senior SoC Program Manager at Nokia, you will lead the execution of SoC ASIC programs, ensuring seamless internal development and collaboration with select partners. This role is pivotal in delivering cutting-edge communication ASICs and FPGAs integral to the Nokia Mobile Network portfolio. You'll be responsible for program planning from the initial concept to mass-volume delivery, expertly coordinating key dependencies across teams and partnerships. In System-on-Chip unit, we are delivering communication ASIC's and FPGA's for Nokia Mobile Network product portfolio. Our core mission is to translate the latest innovations and algorithms to state-of-the-art SoC's and deliver high-quality hardware and supporting software to Nokia products.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Program planning from the early concept phase to mass-volume SoC delivery. Planning the key dependencies between Nokia's teams and partners is important for the successful program execution.
- The main responsibility on Nokia side is to plan and manage program execution with the selected supplier partners and internal stakeholders.
- Follow-up program level execution, steering the development teams to achieve targets of the program.
- Plan SoC integration into Nokia's products in co-operation with product programs.
- Communication and reporting on program status with key internal stakeholders.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Requirements for this position
- 10+ years of experience in managing complex ASIC development projects and programs.
- Several years of experience in ASIC design and design methods
- Strong leadership and program management skills
- Experienced in managing supplier partners.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, fluent spoken and written English
- Pro-activity, problem solving capability and communication in a multisite R&D environment
- Wireless/telecom understanding of at least one radio standard, like 5G, LTE
