We are looking for an experienced data science/software development professional to manage a diverse team of data scientists and data engineers. This role requires not only leadership skills but also a strong understanding of data and analytics-driven product development. The manager will ensure that resource allocation aligns with development and delivery project requirements, actively look ahead to identify potential obstacles, and participate in clearing those obstacles.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Team Management: Oversee a team of data scientists and data engineers. Ensure a positive and productive work environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members. Provide constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Resource Allocation: Manage the resource pool to meet the requirements of various projects. This includes assigning team members to projects based on their skills and the project's needs, and coordination with the relevant stakeholders about the project requirements and timelines.
- Development process and portfolio management:Monitor that the development projects fulfill the quality measures set for them. Ensure that the development projects progress properly from one quality milestone to another. Communication of progress to stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members. This includes technical guidance as well as career development support.

To succeed in thisrole, we expect you to have:
- A Master's degree in data science, information technology, engineering, or a relevant field.
- Experience in project management/coordination and stakeholder management
- Curious customer-focused approach to software and analytics development.
- Ability to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in software development and data science.
- Supportive nature and ability to provide guidance and support to team members.
